Introduction
These Terms of Service govern the use of the MathBlowing Learning Centre website and the tutoring services we provide. By booking an assessment, trial lesson, or ongoing sessions with us, you agree to these terms.
Booking a Free Assessment and Trial Lesson
New students are welcome to book a free assessment and one complimentary trial lesson. Both are offered at no cost and carry no obligation to enroll. The assessment is used to understand a student's current level and learning needs so we can recommend a suitable program.
Bookings are subject to availability and to confirmation by our team.
Cancellations and Missed Sessions
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please give us at least 24 hours' notice so the time can be offered to another student. Sessions missed without notice may not be eligible for rescheduling.
Payment Terms for Enrolled Students
Students who enrol after their assessment and trial lesson are billed on a recurring monthly basis. Fees, billing dates, accepted payment methods, and notice required to pause or cancel enrolment are provided in writing at the time of enrolment.
Our Services
Our tutoring is designed to supplement a student's regular schooling. While we work hard to build understanding, confidence, and strong fundamentals, we cannot guarantee any specific grade, test score, exam result, or academic outcome, as results depend on factors including a student's attendance, effort, practice outside of sessions, and individual circumstances.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MathBlowing Learning Centre is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our services or this website. Information on this website is provided for general information purposes and may be updated at any time.
Student Conduct
We ask that students and accompanying family members treat our staff, other students, and our premises with respect. We reserve the right to discontinue services where conduct disrupts the learning environment of others.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its last updated date.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.
